Forgiveness Code of Conduct    https://sites.google.com/site/valueslessons

Introduction
What are some rules you could use to remind you to forgive fast?
Have the students write down five ideas on paper first.

Lesson
Together draw up a class 'Forgiveness Code of Conduct'
These are three examples. It's important to make up your own class one and recite it together regularly.
1. I'll not get revenge
2. I'll give people the benefit of the doubt
3. I will choose peace instead of justice

Optional
Make up an action to go with each rule.

Competition
Have each student write (or type) out the Code of Conduct and decorate it.
You could make it a competition and enlarge, laminate or scan the best to make a class poster.
Alternatively the pupils could make a slide show presenting their code's rules.

Challenge
Read your code of conduct every morning. Try hard to keep it. Note any areas where you struggle and work on them.
A code of conduct is a set of rules outlining the social norms and rules and responsibilities of, or proper practices for, an individual, group or organization - Wikipedia
