Code of Conduct

Patience Code of Conduct       https://sites.google.com/site/valueslessons

What might be some rules you could use to remind you to be patient?
Have the students write down at least five ideas on paper first.

Together draw up a class 'Patience Code of Conduct'
(Here are three examples. It's important to make up your own class one and recite it together regularly.)
1. I'll wait with a good attitude
2. I'll find worthwhile things to do to fill in time while I wait
3. I will keep trying until I succeed

Make up an action to go with each rule.

Have each student write (or type) out the Code of Conduct and decorate it.
You could enlarge, laminate or scan the best to make a class poster.
Alternatively the pupils could make a slideshow presenting their code's rules.

Read your code of conduct every morning. Try hard to keep it. Note any areas where you struggle and work on them.

A code of conduct is a set of rules outlining the social norms and rules and responsibilities of, or proper practices for, an individual, group or organization - Wikipedia
